Ramsay graduated from St Andrews University before completing the Television Course at Sabhal Mor Ostaig in Skye and coming to Caledonia TV on work placement. Ramsay then joined Caledonia as a researcher and graduated to AP working on our BBC Alba volume deal. Since then, Ramsay has directed documentaries Bho Mhinistear gu Modaratair, following Rev Dr Angus Morrison’s year as moderator of the Church of Scotland and Sàr-Sgeòil: Outlander on Scotland’s impact on the world famous novel. He has produced and directed the long running baking series Fuine and documentary series Na Millenni-Gaels on young Gaelic speakers. He has now graduated to presenting five series of the popular Mach à Seo. He is currently producing The Trick Pony Team for BBC 1.
