Peggy May graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2012, with a degree in English Literature. In 2017, she started as a Runner at the BBC ALBA Children's department where she gained experience working in several roles including Production Manager Assistant, Researcher, Assistant Producer and Director. In 2022, Peggy May joined the Caledonia TV team as an Assistant Producer. She has since worked across many projects, including directing the fact ent BBC ALBA travel programmes, Mach a Seo: Caithness, and Mach a Seo: Split. She produced the US filmed documentary, Wild West Sweeny, and the two-part docuseries, Patagonia: Cuairt gu Crìoch na Cruinne, filmed in Chile and Argentina. She more recently produced and directed the brand new, digital-first, fact ent series, Saor neo Daor and DEISE-L.
