Peggy May Chapple

Assistant Produer/Director

Peggy May graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2012, with a degree in English Literature. In 2017, she started as a Runner at the BBC ALBA Children's department where she gained experience working in several roles including Production Manager Assistant, Assistant Producer and Researcher. In 2022, Peggy May joined the Caledonia TV team as Assistant Producer. She has since worked across many projects, including directing the fact ent BBC ALBA travel programmes, Mach a Seo: Caithness, and Mach a Seo: Split. She also produced the US filmed documentary, 'Wild West Sweeny', and the two-part docuseries, 'Patagonia: Cuairt gu Crìoch na Cruinne', filmed in Chile and Argentina. Peggy May is currently producing and directing, ‘Saor neo Daor’, a brand-new fact ent series for BBC ALBA.
