Faye graduated from Glasgow University with a degree in English Literature and Gaelic. After working for the BBC, she joined Caledonia TV in 2002 as a researcher, rising to become producer of three series of Tìr is Teanga, the popular hillwalking series for BBC Scotland. Faye has now worked on the full range of Caledonia output - Gaelic, Scottish and UK network. She runs our BBC Alba volume deal of factual entertainment series and documentaries. She has worked at network level on Children's, Education and Documentaries for Five, Channel 4 and ITV. Her first network series as producer was the 13-part observational documentary series for Channel Five, Over the Sea to School and one of her productions, My Husband’s Gay for ITV, has sold to almost every international territory. Faye produced From Syria to Scotland for BBC One’s Our Lives strand and directed Boots and Beards for the same strand.
