What really matters in Scotland's history? Jacobites or James Watt? Burns or Bannockburn?
Neil Oliver asks Scots to nominate what they think are the most important things that shaped their Nation. In three programmes, the top 30 topics will be presented by experts passionately arguing their corner. Science and Sport, Empire and Enlightenment, Socialism and Nationalism, Union and Reformation – we will reveal the people, events, issues and ideas that today's Scots believe made Scotland, Scotland. In the last programme of the series, Scotland's top historians debate and argue to compile the historians' top ten and Neil Oliver reveals the finalists and the public vote. Will the public and the historians agree?
