In 1947 the world's leading photo-journalists chose ten families at random for an American magazine The Ladies Home Journal to represent our common humanity in the wake of war. In this film, we've tracked down these families throughout the world to learn of their lives over the extraordinary past half-century.
In this feature length film, we'll meet - then and now - the Hes of China, the Alumas of Sudan, the Redouins of France, the Pratts of USA, the El Gamels of Egypt, the Hiatts of England, the Stieglitzes of Germany, the Gonzalezes of Mexico, the Guercinis of Italy and the Okamotos of Japan.
